Last updated September 2026
This policy explains what personal information Prestige Limos and Chauffeurs collects when you contact or book with us, why we use it and the rights you have. We are the data controller for this information.
Who we are
Prestige Limos and Chauffeurs, 47 Albert Road, Farnworth, BL4 7BA. Email prestigelimosandchauffeurs@gmail.com, phone 07946 128884.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry, book, call, email or message us on WhatsApp, we collect the details you give us. That usually means your name, email address, phone number, pickup and drop-off addresses, dates and times, the number of passengers, and anything else you tell us about your journey or event.
Why we use it
We use your information to reply to your enquiry, prepare a quote, arrange and carry out your booking, contact you about it on the day, and keep records we're required to keep for accounting and licensing. Our lawful bases are taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, performing our contract with you, meeting our legal obligations, and our legitimate interest in running and improving our business. We don't send marketing messages unless you've asked us to.
Who we share it with
We only share your information where it's needed to provide your booking or run our business:
- Our website's enquiry forms are processed by Formspree, which passes your enquiry to our email. Formspree is based in the United States, so your enquiry may be processed outside the UK under appropriate safeguards.
- Where a licensed partner operator supplies your vehicle, we share the journey details and contact information they need to carry out the booking.
- Our email, phone and messaging providers, and our accountant, where needed.
- The police, licensing authority or other official bodies where the law requires it.
We never sell your information.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't turn into bookings are deleted within 12 months. Booking records are kept for six years to meet accounting and tax requirements, then deleted.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to how we use it, or receive a copy to take elsewhere. To make a request, email or call us using the details above. We'll respond within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, but we'd appreciate the chance to put things right first.
Cookies
Our website doesn't use tracking or advertising cookies. It loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers and shares your IP address with Google when a page loads. If we add analytics in future, we'll update this policy and ask for your consent where required.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
